Printing, wireless & iPod are nowhere to be found.

Started with ubuntu 9.10 & have been upgrading successfully until 12.04... Everything's beautiful except the Canon MG5220 installation disc fails do to spooler shutdown. Tried the tricks suggested in other threads & loading the Australian Drivers & the printer allegedly is recognized however nothing prints.

The printer was working previously to the 12.04 upgrade. Because I thought(?) it best to clear all the clutter of prior versions the solo 12.04 install was utilized instead of another side-by-side install. Unfortunately my wireless no longer works & the iPod isn't recognized by gtkpod or Rhythbox.

Please, what to do?

For the iPod other suggest Banshee. I don't use either of these equipment so I don't know if these suggestion would work for you.

However Good luck!

Printer still won't work, drat. Gonna fall back to U9.10 then slowly upgrade through 10.xx to 11.04 to see the printer printing again.

Thanks all

Thumbs up @TroN-0074

Thanks, shoulda known better than to not have loaded U12.04 side by side. Bad judgment can often be costly, however every mistake offers an opportunity to learn. Just too bad I'm a sloooooooooow learner
