Printing To Windows In Debian

This is something I've never tried and I have no idea if it is possible.

I have a windows box with a printer hooked up to it and shared. Is there any possible way of printing to it from within Debian?

If not, how do I get rid of this error message I get:

Could not start the printer tray icon, because the CUPS server could not be contacted.

Thanks
