Printing to printer installed on windows xp through lan

Hello everybody,

I have installed Centos 5 on VM Ware. Host is windows xp machine which has a dot matrix printer installed (Epson lx300+). Centos is installed properly and I am able to browse through windows network from Centos (I have used NAT in VM Ware, thus I have LAN connection between host and guest). Now I want to install printer which is connected to windows host, in Centos. In printer configuration tool in Centos when i go to "Windows printer via SAMBA", it just shows me my workgroup name, but i cannot browse to the lan and go to my host computer which has printer connected.

Should I use any other method for the same. please can you guide me step by step so that i can get this started, i am new person to linux but now i need it for my real work so I need help badly.

Thanks in advance.

Pankaj

No, that's the way to do it, but the Windows printer has to be shared out first, before it'll be visible. And the CentOS server will have to be a member of the same workgroup...
