Smile printing problems cups okular printing jobs debian squeeze epson stylus sx 410

Hello all, having trouble with printing via okular or any other program.

I had it well configured and working but for no reason it started to always print in letter format no matter how I configured the printing in okular.

Debian squeeze trying to use okular to print in Epson sx 41.

Should I reinstall cups?

Thankyou.

Try this one sir.

System> Administration> Printing
Enter Your Root Password

Select the printer.
Right Click printer.
Select Properties.
Goto Printer Option Tab.
Select Page Size as letter.

Or you can try to install Adobe Reader.

Or using okular try to set printing preferences on
Print Page Scaling on "Fit to Printable Area" and
"Choose Paper Source by PDF Page Size"

Hope this one help

Hello. I am sorry, I should have explained my distro is debian with fluxbox (without the normal graphical desktop installation, installation almost from scratch).

So maybe I am missing some library?

It still does not work.

For some reason it worked perfectly the first few times...

I installed the proprietary drivers, I can print test pages perfectly, but cannot make adobe acroread or okular to print...
one of the outputs when trying to print:

Quote:

usage: lpr [-cdfghlmnpqrstv] [-#num] [-1234 font] [-C class] [-i [numcols]]
[-J job] [-Pprinter] [-T title] [-U user] [-wnum] [name ...]

[1]+ Done okular

Smile should I mark SOLVED?

As it stands now, I can print perfectly ok using the command line command:

Code:
lp
But Okular, Acroread, FoxitReader can not print correctly. Foxit explicitly says it uses lpr. How can I make him use just lp?
