printing cup problem
 
I can not print anything when I use Mandrake. I have been using Madrakelinux 10.1 for about 3 months and I can't print a thing. I have an epson c84 hooked up USB 2.0. I have to boot in XP to print things which is a pain. I would like to know if I have to configure printing in linux, secondly, if I do, do I have to edit code???? That stuff scares me as I am a fledgling programmer. I know my hardware is all set because it prints fine in XP.

Aah....you need to have your driver installed in Mandrake. Try finding out driver on epson's website. If not available, search for it on search engines. Also, was it detected by "kudzu", anytime.....
If it was, probably a generic driver has been installed. You can configure your printer easily, just go through the menu and u will find one way to configure it.
