A simple question I think.

I am sending a text file to a network printer from
redhat two different ways.

via:

lpr -Plp filename

which works fine...

lpr -d1 lp@myservername filename

which prints out each line with increasing
tabs so the first line is indented one tab,
the second two tabs, etc...

Anyone know why?

If you look at your etc/printcap file, you may see a setting in the one that works for "stair stepping" or something...

add it to the other printer....
