Printer sharing with Windows and Solaris


Can I use samba to share a printer with Solaris? or do I have to use something else??

Yes, samba should run on Solaris as it does on Linux.

the other way round. Can I send print jobs from a Unix server to a Linux print server running Samba??

Yes I think so if samba is running on the Unix server.
