Question printer sharing problem in suse 10.2


hiii
i m using suse 10.2 and i hv two desktop pc and hp laserjet p1008 printer first i m install printer on my pc using appropriate driver provided by hp after that edit the file /etc/cups/cups.conf in that fle i m edit the line AuthType None to AuthType Basic after that start the cups service after that i share the printer using the command i.e.
lpadmin -p printername -E -v ipp://192.168.1.1:631/printers/laserjet-P1008 and i also install driver on that sharing pc and last when i fire print where locally printer is install the print is ok well n good but when i fire print from second pc where printer is share the print quality is very low faded so pls help me to solve the problem

sounds less like a printer driver problem then like application setting.
what application are you printing with?
does it have settings (print quality, obviously) that may be different on both PCs?

hey guys i solve that problem without u r help linuxquestion.org
the solution is that
you type the command where printer is share
lpoptions -o Quality=600BestGrayscaleK
lpoptions -o Resolution=600BestGrayscaleK
these commands solve the problem byyyyyyy
