printer help

hello, i am using a computer with mandrake, and basically its connected to a router (wired),which connects to the cable modem and to internet.

i have another computer downstairs running windows xp and that computer is connected to the internet wirelessly using an adaptor.
my printer is connected to that computer

anyway, what i want to be able to do is print documents from my computer upstairs running mandrake, but the printer is connected to the computer downstairs running windows xp, is this possible? can i some how wirelessly tell the printer to print? i dun really care about sharing files between the two computers so iam not sure if samba is the thing to use.

any suggestions?

sorry, didnt read it as thoroughly as i should have

just set the printer on windows to share.

on linux you'll run whatever print configuration tool you have to use a networked printer. No reason for this not to work as long as you can "see" the windows box from your linux box.
