Printer help

I have an Epson Stylus Photo 820 printer I am trying to get to work with MDK 9.2. It is also used by my XP OS(Dual Boot). I have been trying the printer installation program in MDK Control Center but it keeps finding a printer hooked up to parallel port which it is not. USB hook up. The necessary "cups program" was installed from CD1 I guess. Anyway, I don't know how to make it see the usb port and don't know what else I need to run this printer. It is said to work "perfectly" with Linux.

They have a lot of info about printers and a bunch of how-to's
Also, I'm not sure whether the default Mandrake kernel supports USB printers. My guess would be that it does, but maybe you should check just to be sure.

Thanks for the reply. I put on a parallel port cable and found "Turboprint". Works good! http://www.turboprint.de/english.html
