printer goes berserk

Greetings fellow Newbies hi Trickykid,

Today's problem is: I pasted a few lines from a Howto file into a Gedit window, gave it a name, saved it and tried to print it. Instead of printing what I wanted the printer started churning out page after page of what looks like a print-test document. Ever hopeful, I repeated the process from the beginning: same result.

How do I stop this madness?

e you later Blistfix.

Tried once, failed. Tried again, failed better.
