"printer drivers"

I have a Lexmark Z42 inkjet (local) printer using driver drv_42
This is fine for printing Open Office files.
However, it can't cope with Mozilla Browsers or E-mail.
The ones I have print only in Postscript format.
I have tried printing with LPRing, cups & kprinter without success.
Can anyone suggest a driver which will solve the problem
or is a different driver not the solution?

Last I looked, Mozilla needed xprint to be able to print.
