Is there a driver for the Printer Brother HL-2140 to be used with Ubuntu 9.10. and how to install.

Did you try to look this up? First hit on Google:

http://www.openprinting.org/printer/...rother-HL-2140

points to the Brother website, with drivers and instructions.
