prenewb needs help
I came out of Windows XP what a mess and I am old as hell but I want to know what is the easiest Linux to beginning to earn my bones in Linux. I like what I have read about Red Had. Is it easier than Ubuntu.
The free versions of Redhat are super old, my suggestion is Ubuntu but seriously, this question has been asked 8,972,612* times before so searching will get you better results.
Please (MY OWN FREE OPINION) do not make a mistake and use clones as beginner.
Better use common distributions such as FEDORA Core 5 which is the Redhat "free" version or Open Suse or Debain. But not slackware, ubuntu, kubuntu...., centos, freespire and so on. they are ALL great of course but if you want a huge amount of help if you enter something in google then use a distri of my recommendations.
But as cs-cam said there are some... post regarding this
