Unhappy PPP troubles


My ppp is configured to start when the computer boots up. When I boot up the computer is stalls when starting the ppp service. How do I disable ppp on startup????

What distribution are you using?Sometimes it depends on the distro as to where that file is.

Distribution: Ubuntu 10.04 (used to be Red Hat 7.1, then Red Hat 9, then FC 2, FC 5, FC 6, FC 9 and Ubuntu 8.04)

Cool

As root, run ksysv or tksysv and remove the ppp deamon from the Start lists - if you are booting into X then start level 5 is the relevant list.
