power outage, managed to fix the harddrives with fsck, now qmail doesnt work

hello
last night i had a power outage at a client and the router/mail server died.
i asked here and i got the help and managed to fix the hard drives. fsck never got over 69.5% and solved it by puting the harddrives in another computer and ran fsck from a live cd.
put the harddrives back and came here and plugged the server in and everything works fine except the fact that qmail doesnt deliver the messages, not in the domain not ou from the domain.
weird part is that i think i read all the logs possible and i get NO ERROR whatsoever. the messages are just there, and dont get into ./mailbox and the ones they send from inside the network dont get past the server. also the mailserver doesnt send any error back, it's like everything works but the emails just dont get sent.
any ideas?
thanks a lot

Did you check lost+found? When fsck finds orphan files or directories it gives the orphans a number and puts them in lost+found. Check your lost+found for orphans.

Sick of bot posting problems from a different forum verbatim on LQ
in irrelevant boards. Banning the thing and closing the threads.
