Postscript documents printed 2cm too high
 

A4 sized Postscript documents ,send to Lpr using either Ghostview or Emacs, are printed 2cm too high (nearly 1 inch).
It may come from options of my printer (/etc/printcap?) - I've got the correct filter for my Epson Stylus Color 580 printer -, or Lpr options (which I don't know at all, even after reading the man page).

Uh, are you sure the docs are a4? I had this problem printing letter sized in a4 paper.

Try 'man gs' and issue a command such as:

gs [options -- many!] | lpr

The stuff inside brackets must be replaced by the actual options shown in the man page.
