Hotmail probably just doesn't like your server

Well I am not to sure, but do you really own:
newman.kicks-ass.net
?

You might wanna look at some of the free DNS clients (if I am totally wrong, I appologize for the useless info):
www.dynu.org
www.noip.com

And MANY others, these are the 2 that come to mind immediately, and they are for Dynamic IP's.

Cool

Canadian_2k2,

I am having the same issue. I haven't resolved it yet but have figured out it is a lack of POP3 being loaded. I using Mandrake 9 and I can't seem to find POP3.

Type netstat -at and you will see if anything is listening to port 110. From another computer you can telnet your linux system
like such:
telnet> open XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX 110 ( use your ip address)

If you get a connection failed or connection refused, it's not working.

If you look at my posts, postfix smtp pop3 theres a lot of good info from rewt.

I also can't find nething with pop3 using
ps aux |grep pop3
or searching ps aux manualy

when I telnet localhost 110 I get
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.localdomain (127.0.0.1).
Escape character is '^]'.
+OK POP3 localhost.localdomain v2001.78mdk server ready

then in a nother term
ps aux |grep pop
root 3999 0.0 0.4 2152 768 ? S 16:28 0:00 ipop3d
so it is running in daemon mode

But how can I recieve msg's
Ne body know wuts wrong??

So it is running

Your pop seems to be working.
It must be a setting in your mail program. Follow my questions from the thread "postfix smtp pop3" and try the settings rewt suggests in kmail.
I'm no expert by far, but if your dameon is running, its gotta just be a configuration issue.

Also, double check your settings in postfix.conf just to make sure nothing is misspelled.
