postfix plain password auth with tls security

Hello all,

I am new to setting up mail servers so please excuse my ignorance if I am asking a trivial question:
would the following line from my mail log consider my server not secure since it logs users using method plain or is it ok since it also uses TLS

imap-login: Login: user=<john>, method=PLAIN, rip=::ffff:10.0.0.45, lip=::ffff:10.0.0.134, TLS

mail server redhat, postfix, dovecot which only allow imaps and pop3s, saslauthd for authentication

If you have TLS set up properly, that is fine.
