postfix on a dynamic IP (dhcp) machine problem

I'm running a machine which gets its IP by dhcpcd. However everytime I sent out my mail, it was queued and moved into /var/spool/postfix/defer/ directory. I've followed the instructions on the postfix website but nothing works. Please tell me how to set up my main.cf file, especially the mydomain and myhostname. Thanks a lot.

In your main.cf you will see a line;

relayhost =

edit this to read;

relayhost = [outmail.address.of_your_isp]

i.e. the address you would normally use to send mail from your mail client.
