Postfix help
 

I get these two errors all the time in my logs. I do not even use sql for my postfix setup. Is there some way that I can disable whatever it is that these errors need?

Jun 6 19:36:59 www postfix/smtpd[17853]: auxpropfunc error no mechanism available
Jun 6 19:53:37 www postfix/smtpd[17881]: sql_select option missing

Forgot to add that I'm running courier-imap and pop3d-ssl.

Do you have the cyrus-sasl-sql package installed by chance?

Yes it's installed. But I've never done anything with it.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Remove it then.. if your not using it. But I do think postfix needs the cyrus-sasl package though.. so you can leave that one.. just the sql can be removed and it will stop the logs your seeing..

Sorry for such a stupid question. I just figured in order for this program to run you would have to do some sort of configuration or something. I thought all I had to do was comment out a line somewhere that the sql program was being called. :o

Just removed it, we'll see how it goes.
