postfix check


when i run the command "postfix check" i get the following results:

postfix/postfix-script: warning: /var/spool/postfix/etc/hosts and /etc/hosts differ
postfix/postfix-script: warning: /var/spool/postfix/etc/passwd and /etc/passwd differ

can anyone have the solution for this.

From what I remeber from the documentation, it refers to the LINUX2 script. This script will copy needed files into the Postfix chroot jail. Every time you update certain files like the hosts file and resolv.conf, you should run this script or you will get the "files differ" error. When running chrooted, Postfix needs its own copies of those files.
