Hi all,
I need to create a service for several users with the following features:

1) User will only have email + ftp access to linux box, no interactive logon allowed
2) User should login to email server using username@domain, as I will be hosting multiple domains

Can someone tell me what I have to do to:

1) Restrict user access so that they can't access linux server by console, only by ftp and email

2) Configure postfix so that the users will access the email server using username@domain + password

3) Can I accomplish this only with MySQL and without creating local linux users?

Yes,

this all you get if you use iredmail solution, which installs all the needed packages at once (and with MySQL support for usr/passw & domains)

I'm using it and it's great.

FTP is just a matter of configuring vsftpd to use the same database for login (some waypoint you can use at my guide).
