LinuxQuestions.org - [SOLVED] Postfix (2.11) delivers all emails to root@mydomain.tld instead to the user's Maildir

I am using CentOS 6.5 and Postfix 2.11, I read many many related articles and tried a lot of different configuration, but obviously I am missing something. Any email sent to user@mydomain.tld, ends up in /root/Maildir/new, instead of /home/user/Maildir/new. Here is the output of postconf:

strange things is that "set | grep -i mail" for root gives:

while the same command for the regular user gives:
