Possible to have virtual machine in RHEL 5.1 run RHEL 4.0-1 ES (64-bit)


Is it possible to do the above?

It depends:

Is the RHEL 5.1 host OS also running 64-bit? If it is, then certainly yes.

If not, then I believe you need to have a CPU (and BIOS) that has special virtualization extensions built into it.

What CPU do you have?
