Question port xrandr configuration to /etc/X11/xorg.conf?

Hi.

I am trying to port my xrandr configuration to xorg.conf.

Currently i am using gnome3 fallback on debian wheezy. It uses xrandr for the screen configuration.

i want to use the awesome window-manager that uses xorg.conf.

xrandr has been automaticly set up by debian. when looking at the xorg.conf, i have no idea where to start. i do not understand anything of it.

Here my current xrandr configuration:
Code:
koen@Koen-Desktop:~$ xrandr -q
Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 2304 x 1024, maximum 8192 x 8192
DVI-0 connected 1024x768+1280+256 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 0mm x 0mm
   1024x768 60.0*
   800x600 60.3 56.2
   848x480 60.0
   640x480 59.9
DIN disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
DVI-1 connected 1280x1024+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 338mm x 270mm
   1280x1024 60.0*+ 75.0
   1152x864 75.0
   1024x768 75.1 70.1 60.0
   832x624 74.6
   800x600 72.2 75.0 60.3 56.2
   640x480 72.8 75.0 60.0
   720x400 70.1
here my current /etc/X11/xorg.config

There's a lot in that xorg.conf file you don't need. Trying dumbing it down:

Code:
Section "Monitor"
	Identifier "DVI-1"
EndSection

Section "Monitor"
	Identifier "DVI-0"
        Option "RightOf" "DVI-1"
EndSection
Everything else should be autodetected by X.
