Question Port Redirect with Ericsson T073G HGU ONT on Kali

Hello, kind Linux Community!

I've got to open ports 80 and 22 on my Kali Linux through NAT in a usual wifi router for my web server and ssh.

At the same time I have a no-ip.com account for my IP dynamical updating which works properly.

I've tuned port forwarding in this router. Port 80 is still closed. Nevertheless port 80 on router is open and lets to the router web interface. This is why I had to get tuned port forwarding for port 8080 with no result.

Please help me to cope with this stuff. Any needed for solving this additional information with screenshots I would post on demand.

Thank you in advance. Looking forward for soon solvation.

Welcome to LinuxQuestions.

Are you using a static IP address or configured a reserved address for your PC in the router?

Did you install ssh and is it running? Can you log into Kali using your no-ip URL? (i.e name.ddns.net)

Home routers typically are unable to loopback port 80 which is why you can not access it from within your LAN. It should still work if you access it from outside your LAN.

If running a firewall it should allow Ports 80 and 22.

Kali might not be the best choice. It might be better if you installed a regular desktop distribution.
