Exclamation Port permissions


i've just tryed to install my scanner and xsane won't startup becsaue of port permission, everything is fine in root scanns and everything.

How do i give the user permission to use that port.?


mandrake 9.2 X86

try , in conquerer , right click on the port in /dev/, then click -> properties -> permiss. -> advanced ,
and set things your way.
think that will work.

i've enabled 'port' for all users but xsane still can't access it
