Port Forwarding on Debian 6.0 (Squeeze) x64

I'm trying to look for detailed guides about port forwarding on Debian Squeeze, but I didn't find any. I'm trying to operate a San Andreas Multiplayer (SA-MP) server on my VPS/Cloud server. The SA-MP server is running, but it doesn't show on the server list. http://i.imgur.com/AMiUlkZ.jpg ("Retrieving info" means that the server is either not found or it's down) The configuration file is already set to it's proper for a SA-MP server to run. Actually, the SA-MP server is meant for x86 systems (my server is running x64), but the server will still run if "ia32-libs" is installed. The server is running, so I think this is no longer a problem. I was thinking about the reasons why it doesn't show up on the server list:
However, I am not really sure if the issue is on closed port or firewall. I am also running two ShoutCAST v2 servers on the same VPS/Cloud, and everything is running fine without port forwarding/firewall. Although it could still be a problem. Looking forward for suggestions on how to fix this issue. Thanks! |
