pop3 errors after power failure
 

Had a power failure, restarted the fedora server but i get errors when sending and receiving mail ( internal pop3 reports errors ) is there a service that needs to be started. If so what is the command Please email reply to bhdata@isat.co.za

Suggestion 1) Post the exact text of the error messages.

Suggestion 2) Try demsg. Look for errors, and post those as well.

Suggestion 3) cd to /var/log, and examine the log files therein. You may have to su to root, and use the cat command to look into some of those files. If you find error messages, post those as well.

The problem as you have stated lacks vital information. Help us understand the problem, and some of us will probably be able to help you solve that problem.
