pmap -x available on all linux?

I tried the pmap command on redhat 4.5 and on suse10.1 but the options
provided is different on redhat i got the -x option while on suse does not give that so i checked the pmap version on suse was 3.2.6 while redhat was 3.2.3 i want the -x option on both is there no common output?
If required which package to install on suse?

Hi Amol,
I'm surprised that pmap 3.2.3 has the -x option but 3.2.6 doesn't have that option. I have version 3.2.7 of pmap and it does have the -x option. Have you checked pmap on Suse?
Code:

man pmap
Otherwise you might try upgrading pmap on Suse to 3.2.7.
Cheers,
jdk
