Pmap update

Hi all,

I'm having this problem:

in a server with SuSE
Linux NAME 2.6.30.1-smp-siemens03 #5 SMP Tue Aug 4 16:36:08 CEST 2009 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
and
java version "1.6.0_14"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_14-b08)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 14.0-b16, mixed mode)

pmap doesn't work and get out this error

jboss@NAMA:~> pmap 7368
stat: No such file or directory
error getting process information for pid 7368 from /proc/7368

( pmap --version : procps version 3.2.6 )

I want to upgrade pmap to version 3.2.7 beacause this can solve my problem.

The question is: which package have I to download and install? Where I can find it?

Thanks in advance

f

Did you receive this error every time with all PID?

i am not sure for suse but you can use rpm command to find out package name.

This will display pmap command's owner package which you can upgrade.
Code:
#rpm -qf /usr/bin/pmap
