plz help me!-Twm desktop problem
 

hi!

i switched to twm from gnome desktop.

i can't find a way to get back to gnome or kde for that matter.

i'm sitting idle in front of my desktop having no icons and just a green thing pops out whenever i pressed the mouse containing,

kill
exit
icons etc.,

but nothing happens.

someone plz lend me a hand to solve this.

Well how did you switch from Gnome to TWM? Can't you just use the same program to switch back? If for some reason you can't, stop X and create a file called .xinitrc (note the leading dot) in your home directory with the following line:

exec gnome-session

When you restart X, it should pop you back into Gnime.

Use this commad for change your graphical enviroment:

switchdesk KDE or any you want
