pls help me with dns configuration


I get this error when i check for synatex error and when i try to restart my named. could anyone please assist me here.

named-checkconf /etc/named.conf
/etc/named.conf:43: '{' expected near ';'

Well, named is complaining about a syntax error on line 43. It looks like it could be a brace mismatch.

Or... Try changing the two places where the file reads:
Code:
zone"
to
Code:
zone "
Neither of those looks correct to me and could be confusing the configuration parser into thinking there's a missing brace.

If you make those changes, post the results here.

i have done that yet still getting the same error message.

Try removing the semi-colon from this line

zone"jumahstudio.local"; IN {
