plotter driver instalation
 

Hi,

For the purpose of my job and because my boss is an a..hole I have to install Isys V12 plotter (for thermal plotting), but the model is not important as is the thing that I simply don't know how to install drivers (or plotter).
It's connected to COM parallel port.

You first have to find out if there is a driver for this hardware that runs on Linux or Unix. The installation instructions are almost always included with the software.

If you need to find out whether a driver exists then google.com will help. Just enter something like this in the search box.

Isys+V12+plotter+driver+linux

I put linux at the end so that drivers for other operating systems will also show up in the results. If you know the name of the hardware manufacturer then you could add that to the search string with a + sign in front of it.
