Hai. im so glad and very happy to recive such a valuble and useful solution to my problem. I will be so thankful to this forum
my OS is "redhat 5 enterprise"
i tried and succeede in installing ogle dvd player. But im not satisfied with that. i need some better dvd player. i had already used VLC in my windows pc. im so pleased with that. Now im willing to install it in my "redhat 5 enterprise". But when i tried it said that so many dependencies missing. When i tried to download i failed to find the exact dependencies which it required.

Please help me. I want to watch my favorate movie in my Laptop. For this i need ur help.
Please suggest me any other dvd player which is a better one in the context of "ui", picture quality etc.
please help me.

As part of your service contract with RedHat, you have access to extensive up2date repositories.

Otherwise it is a matter of finding a RHEL5 rpm, and hunting down the dependencies. Welcome to hell.

As you have a commercial distro, use the commercial resources. For non-commercial support, use a non-commercial distro always works best. <winning smile>
