Unhappy Please help me with my Skype, Audio system, Webcam configurations

System - Fedora 8
Skype 2.* for linux

i've just installed Fedora, ran updates, installed some repositories (found FAQ for fedora basic configuration), mp3 support , and other nonfree systems.

Also installed Skype... but skype don't sees my audio devices, nor mic (integrated in usb web camera), neither sound system (integrated), webcamera as well.

web camera Genius Look 317 (?)

Since system is started, webcamera stays always something like turned on , active....

also i've installed ALSA and all needed fils utils for it, but i can't run "alsaconf"

Please , help me to configure my webcam, sound system , SKYPE

P.S. sometimes when i want to shutdown system from gui "log of user"....nothing appears. and I'm turning machine physically with button.
How can i fix it ?

sound config

Open from the menu bar System > Preferences > Hardware > Sound and see if your sound input/output does work - click on "Test": if you hear it, than it works. Make a note on the device that worked.

In Skype go into Options and to Audio Devices. Set the appropriate device and run a test or a make test phone call.

Sound output should work easily, sound input can be tricky sometimes. Depends on your headset hardware or whatever you use.

Xen in Hardy

Every time, i start system , i've to get sound drivers reloaded. becouse from begining sound doesn't work.
I've tryed to configure skype audio setings, set "Audio Out"=Pulse, and "audio In"=hw;camera0 (thereis also plughw:camera0), so at first time it worked, i did test call.
After this try , i applyed options, but as i had applyed them, sound turned of, i tryed to reload sound drivers again but it didn't work , it said me to close my box , and try later. ((((((((((((
And how can configure my webcamera to get it working when i need it, for audio in and video calls, video doesn't work at this moment.

so i think , very first, i need to configure stable sound options on my system, and webcamera, and take care for a skype after i'll configure this main settings in system.

Please help me configure sound system and webcamera ((
