please help i cannot mount in knoppix
 

when i try to mount it says not valid ntfs partition any help?

what is the command you are using to mount it? we have no idea whether you're even doing it right in the first place.

i use this mount -t ntfs /dev/hda1 /mnt/windows it didn't work and knoppix have a auto mount but it didn't work either it says
error i cannot mount because file system was not determined
please help i really want to learn :((((

In root what does cfdisk say?
hda2 Boot Primary NTFS
Becareful and toggle to Quit, BTW.
Is it dual boot or VM ware?

Usually u can just left click on the desktop and it's auto mount.
maybe /media/hda1/ or /mnt/hda1/ then l to see any WINDOWS files.

im running it on vmware
cfdisk only shows one of my drives hda while i got 2. the mount on desktop don't work it says file system not determined
