Please help: bootload on floppy

I just insltalled SUSE 8.0 on my second hard drive and like to boot from floppy. I did the following step:

create a bootdisk, if I boot from here, it always ask me to put module 1 disk and go through some installation question. I'd like it directly go to root on hard drive to load kernal. So I put bootload (lilo) on the bootdisk. However, it never boots after this.

Can anyone help me with this? Is it because my Linux installed on the second hard drive?

Thanks!

If your really stuck you could always use a copy of Knoppix as a rescue disk - you'd be able to mount the relevant partitions and re-install LILO to somewere like the MBR as opposed to trying to boot from the floppy each time.

I need a way to boot my linux, but not through my window boot. At this time, I have to boot from the first installation CD and go through all of the installation questions. I tried the selection "boot installed OS" and input /dev/hdb4 where my linux partition is, but it comes back with error message: cannot find kernal image at /dev/hdb4. So, I have to through language select and then select a installed OS every time.

Is possible something I did wrong with the kernal image? Where I can find it?
