Let start at the beginning you use suse which version of suse 10.1.or 10.2 ore 10.3 or even earlier version ?
X32 means 32 bits x64 bits Suse 10.3 32 bits runs on a 64 bits machine the 64 bits do not run on a 32 bits machine Installing programs in suse is normally down with yast By mozilla you mean firefox the web browser ? so give us more information so we can give you a more specific answer all the best |

Code:
chmod +x nameoffile Code:
man nameofcommand |
For those who wish to help him out, here is the download page for the client:
http://www.planeshift.it/download.html#linux Here is an installation forum page: http://hydlaa.com/smf/index.php?topic=19389.0 You could also post to the forum to get more detailed help. Here is a step-by-step installation tutorial: http://www.openfree.org/pet/index.ph...hift_for_linux Here are some installation instructions on an ubuntu forum: http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-519305.html http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=48111 I played it for a little while several months ago. I really couldn't figure out how to do more than just run around and kill things...got a little boring. But the Kran are cool! I also like the idea of the warforged in the D&D Eberron setting. |

Based on the results of a google search for that kernel, I think you may be using Suse 9.1:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...lt&btnG=Search This link indicates you can find the version number by entering uname -sr http://books.google.com/books?id=g7A...V7E23XTs&hl=en You can also post to this suse-specific help forum http://forums.suselinuxsupport.de/ |
hmmm, does this mean i should use x32 to be safe?
I got "Linux 2.6.4-52-default" when i used the uname -sr function... |
It would be ok to use the x32 version. If your hardware is in fact x64, it would still run, it would just not take full advantage of your 64-bit processor.
Here is another link that instructs you how to find your version release: http://www.ccs.neu.edu/home/billle18...ersion_HC.html |
