Hello Everyone
I am Kaarthik
I am new to Linux
I've heard that Linux is virus free
I want to use it.
I have a Ubuntu CD
But I want to clear all my doubts regarding use of Linux or particularly Ubuntu
I have a Intel Dual core prcessor and 2 GB of RAM

check for hardware compatibility first before undertaking any installation... it would be safer...
else try live cd of ubuntu..
