Playing MP3's with Winamp on FC3

For some weird reason, I can hear audio CD's (In CD Player), but I can't play MP3's. DO I need to download codecs for them? Because I hear absolutely no sound from MP3's...

There are many media players specifically for Linux, try on of them. There is XMMS, Beep Meia Player, amarok, Juk etc.

To be quite honest, I don't know what the problem is. I can see that winamp is playing the song, because I can see the wave form moving, I just don't hear any sound. If I put a CD in, I can hear the CD music just fine though. Maybe somebody can recommend me to a good player, because I don't even know how to install, or use XMMS.... I even went and looked at the instructions, I just don't understand, because I'm a linux

I am suprised you were able to install WINE but didn't take time out to learn how to install packages on your distro. Anyway on Fedora you can install packages using yum or apt. Yum is shipped with Fedora,so to install xmms, as root you would do "yum install xmms". Now the version of xmms that ships with Fedora does not support mp3 out of the box, so you will need to add extra repositories and install the xmms-mp3 package. If you go to dag and freshrpms.net, they have instructions on how to add their repositories to yum giving you access to a lot more packages. I prefer using apt because it has a nice gui tool called synaptic. You can get apt and synaptic at fedoraproject.
