Dear all,
please help me in getting an mp3 player and video player for my fc3 linux.Already it has totem,helix players,but they couldn't play any audio or video files from the windows partitions mounted under mnt directory in linux.Please help me.Also i have Xine.conf and Xmms but they also couldn't help me...

Can you play from your linux drives, is this just from the windows drives?

If its only the windows partitions you cannot play from, you may want to check your permissions to access data on those drives.

The "xmms-mp3" package allows xmms to play MP3s. MPlayer and VLC are video (and audio) players. You can get all these from either the Livna or the Dag/FreshRPMS (RPMforge) third-party repos, depending on your political preferences, or you can try to find packages from the official software sites.
