Looks like you need to install the kernel source and headers. You'd have to look at the documentation to see how, but it's probably something like
Code:
yum install kernel-devel kernel-headers
This is usually a prereq when compiling any low level driver or kernel module.

Sounds like a kernel problem and I'm not techy enough, unless I have hands on? Here are some links I found and hopefully someone will see your problem who really knows what their doing... http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/vi...39096&p=393810

Edit: I'm also a slow typer.

I successfully installed both kernel-devel and kernel-headers. I still get the same error.

Well that looks right, is there a "build" directory inside 3.4.24-1.fc18.armv7hl.a10?

Sometimes with embedded systems you need to do some symlinking in the /lib/modules path to make the kernel module compilation happy. Unfortunately every system is a bit different, so I can't give you detailed instructions on what needs to be linked where.

Should I make a folder and call it build and then place it in the following directory /usr/src/kernels/3.4.24-1.fc18.armv7hl.a10 ?

Try posting back the results from this:
Code:
lsusb
plus
Code:
(su or)sudo ifconfig
to see if that helps us also read through (or search) the descriptions in your package manager (wifi, kernel mod, etc,) have you done:
Code:
sudo yum -y update
