pkgrm missing?

Ubuntu 8.04 server. when I type pkgrm I get bash: pkgrm: command not found. using the find command returns nothing. In fact all of the pkg..... commands are missing.

I have searched but it appears no one else has had this problem. Why is it missing, and where can I get it from?

The packagemanager is called synaptic (GUI)
Take a look at
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SynapticHowto
For the commandline you can use
apt-get or dpkg
see
