ping command help

I've got a really basic question about the ping command. When I enter the command, I get an endless amount of feedback. The system just keeps on pinging...

There has to be a way to limit the number of pings? I've looked at the man page, and I don't see anything, but that's probably because I"m not very good at reading man pages.

Thanks!

Code:
       -c count
Stop after sending count ECHO_REQUEST packets. With deadline option, ping waits for count
ECHO_REPLY packets, until the timeout expires.
Example:
Code:
ping -c3 google.com
