Pine Folders
Pine uses by default ~/mail to store its own folders, and the INBOX folder is referencing my mbox folder.
I use gotmail to get my Hotmail until people stop sending me email. All Hotmail email goes to ~/Hotmail/Inbox . Using Mutt it is easy to check the mail folder as you can physically type in the path. With Pine it seems a little more complicated, does anyone know the syntac I should use to Add this folder, when ever I try it just says it already exists. I know I am probably doing something stupid!!!!!! |
I had the same problem with some IMAP folders and the way I solved (thanks to a friend) was to directly add the lines to the .pinerc files
the sintax is something like folder-collections= MAIL/mail[], YOURNICK {server/options}path.[] Hope this works... I think your server is going to be just empty (if you get your mail before) and path should be something like /HOTMAIL.[] R. |
