The domain shouldn't stop you from logging in with pidgin. Do you have any further info or error messages?

Yes its giving the following error:

PHP Code:
Error 1013The username you have entered is invalid.  The most common cause of this error is entering your email address instead of your YahooID

Are you sure you are only using your Yahoo ID and not your Yahoo email address?

Ohh, wow, I just did it. It just said enter the yahoo ID . So I entered myid@yahoo.co.in as I thought it would not take yahoo.co.in .

Now I entered only myid and not the domain and it worked successfully.
