Until you find one for now you can use Kuickshow on a file with permission (chmod +x) and manually use the mousewheel. However, you might get muscles on your index finger.

Does Knoppix have qiv(quick image viewer)? I cant remember. If it does you can use that plus different flags/options to do some cool slideshows.

Also, I *think* the "display" command plus flags/options will do slideshows. I cant remember it's been a while since I've used that command.

Are you wanting to do a digital picture frame? If so I know slax has qiv, that's what I use.

Does Knoppix come with xv installed? If yes - my line above, invoked
from the dir with the dix and an * after the options will do just what
you want ... =}

I use that from xscreensaver to get a slide show of photos when my
screen is locked - like it a lot ;}

Check this list:
http://mirror.pacific.net.au/linux/knoppix/packages.txt
for what's available on the live version.
