Question PHPBB2 and MySql Troubles

hey

I got a web server running with Apache, MySql and PHPBB2 running all under RH 8.0

I got apache up fine, MySql running fine and installed PHBB fine but when I go the the web browser setup.

it tells me

"The PHP configuration on your server doesn't support the database type that you chose"

I created the database in MySQL and stuff.

rpmfind.net will find most rpms.

ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/redhat/updat...8.0.7.i386.rpm

Download and install with:
rpm -ivh php-mysql-4.2.2-8.0.7.i386.rpm

Hey guys, after most frustrations, I have a solution that worked for me:
remove apache 2 and put apache 1.3 instead

Then EVERYTHING started working again! Mysql/Perl/GD etc etc
